3/30/2023 0 Comments Blackfire blackice![]() ![]() To make matters worse, Komand'r had been stricken with a childhood illness that left her unable to harness ultraviolet light to fly as most Tamaraneans did. Though she was in no way at fault for what had happened Komand'r was for all time inextricably linked with that terrible day. On the day she was born the Citadel Empire attacked and destroyed the western Tamaranean city of Kysarr, killing three thousand citizens in her name. The first princess born in over a hundred years, she should have been courted and showered with honors. But after seeing the look it gave the car, I highly recommend this wax.Komand'r was born the eldest child of Tamaran's royal family. Another thing to note is that my car is a DD and spends it's time outside 24/7 so those who have a garage or don't drive it everyday will obviously receive more durability than I do. I hope to at least update this thread and see how much durability I can personally get out of it. I'd like to see what durability it has considering it's advertised as extremely durable. Verdict: After using BlackFire BlackIce, I'd have to say I definitely recommend this wax for now. Have never seen it from any other wax or sealant. It's extremely hard to explain but it's something that when you see it, you understand. Not only did it make the flakes pop a lot more but it also gave a deeper look. It's also supposed to be great for dark cars but if I had to explain it, it gave the car "richer" color. The wax is advertised as a hybrid wax and I don't honestly know if that has anything to do with it. Other waxes don't really make a difference in the way the paint looks but this one did. I've used other carnuba based waxes like Adam's Americana and this is the first wax I've noticed a different look in the paint. The "Look": I added this category for this wax just because it's honestly one of the first waxes I've actually noticed a difference in look with. No heavy elbow grease needed to remove this one. ![]() After waiting the cure time, removing it was fairly easy. This wax requires a curing time of about 15 minutes. Yes the wax is expensive but if the durability holds up like they say it will, it's not that bad a price considering you might use it 3-4 times a year?Įase of Application: Like other carnubas, applying BlackIce was fairly simple. On sheeting alone I absolutely love this wax. Just had to dab up a few small water puddles and was done drying. After a car wash and pooling rinse, the car was almost completely dry. Two week update: Roshan was definitely right about the sheeting of this wax. Will see how the sheeting is as long as I get time to wash the car. One week update: Wax is beading beautifully. Then here are some pictures of the beading of it after 1 week of being on the car. Here are some pictures of the car after the detail with a layer of BlackFire BlackIce. The wax is extremely expensive and the nice box doesn't justify the price but hey it doesn't hurtĪnd here's a picture of the actual pot of wax. Here's a picture of the really nice box that the wax is sent in. After reading all the buzz surrounding the wax, I was pretty excited to try it. Last week, my buddy was kind enough to allow me the use of his garage to tackle the detail I had been wanting to do for awhile now and got a chance to use it. This is my very first review so please bare with me.ĭuring the Black Friday sales that AutoGeek ran, I was able to pick up a pot of the BlackFire BlackIce wax at a great price. ![]()
